Commercial Photography:
The Ethiopian Photograph was totally blow my head off. The lighting, details, sharpness, contrast, and also the meaning are there. All is there. You can see the meaning of his photograph. So strong yet so powerful. From his artwork, I know how Ethiopian are look like. He traveled to Ethiopia 3times over the course of the 3 years to photograph them. He said he used studio lighting and a modern style to shoot the photos, and he said "they become overlooked when they are depicted in black and white, as noble savages, and unchanged people." And I think I understand why this photograph was taken back then.
The commercial photoshoot also so fascinating. Why? Again, he used a very good lightning, detail, sharpness, contrast, and imagination. It's so entertaining and refreshing and of course it's not boring.
